I really love being a mum and I’m really grateful for the connection I have with my 3 brilliant daughters. They support and encourage me every day!
I also have a clan of wonderful friends in my life, who have been critical in my survival through all of my adversities.
When unexpected events happen and the people who you think are on your team turn out not to be… It’s an opportunity to learn about the people that you need to surround yourself with.
I capitalised on the lovely friendships which were already in my life. I allowed other ‘can do’ people to be in my team and I briefed them well. I reminded them to have my back, and to encourage me to get in the fast lane and to keep going with my hopes, my dreams and my goals. Reminding me to thrive.
